BCIF was officially registered as a fund for Serbia and Montenegro, with a complete team in Belgrade, including the executive director, program coordinator, administrator and financial coordinator.

Two new programs have been launched in the areas of local philanthropy and community development.

Support continued for initiatives that encourage the active involvement of the local population in solving common problems and activating local resources, such as the renovation of the old building of the Youth Center into the cultural centre of the city, offering an alternative to harmful behaviour among young people, which was on a dramatic increase, or the inclusion of Roma children in the regular education system.

The organization remains a unique donor in Serbia and Montenegro, focused on small initiatives and informal groups that support an active approach to joint problem-solving.
