Empower2Change
The Empower2Change program is designed to support civil society organizations and young academics in jointly influencing changes in socio-economic public policies in Serbia.
The purpose of the program is to provide support for various public advocacy campaigns aimed at shaping public policies at both the local and national levels, aligning them with citizens’ needs and the European Union’s legal framework.
Program Focus Areas Are:
Improving the quality and accessibility of social protection services to enhance the position of vulnerable groups.
Advancing labour rights and promoting employment opportunities for vulnerable groups.
Empowering social entrepreneurship and encouraging innovation in social services.
Through this program, Trag Foundation provides financial and expert support to civil society organizations and young researchers (graduates, postgraduates, and students in their final year, up to 30 years old) from 2022 to 2025.
Empower2Change website
The Empower2Change public advocacy support program is funded by the European Union and implemented by Trag Foundation in partnership with the Center for Social Policy and in collaboration with the Coalition for the Development of Solidarity Economy (KoRSE).
Research and Empower
The Research and Empower program supports civil society organizations in public advocacy, with a focus on engaging citizens in decision-making processes at the local and national levels.
The program's goal is to enhance citizens' knowledge and skills in shaping and monitoring public policies, particularly in the areas of environmental protection, youth policies, and the use of public spaces.
The program includes several key activities: financial support to civil society organizations for the implementation of local campaigns, education on public advocacy through training, mentoring support in the field of public policies and communications, and networking with local initiatives.

By promoting local initiatives through media and social networks, the program enhances the visibility of successful community stories.

USAID B&H
#LocalWorks
Through the #LocalWorks initiative, a project was launched to enhance local philanthropy as a key tool for community development.
Cooperation
The Mozaik Foundation, in partnership with the Hastor Foundation, the Network for Building Peace, and the Pomozi.ba Association, as well as partner organizations from the Republic of Serbia — Trag Foundation and Catalyst Balkans — implemented the project with financial support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Innovative Campaigns
Each organization had a clear role in connecting sectors and driving positive change. Through innovative campaigns, the project has empowered local resources and created concrete proposals for legislative change.
Philanthropy Forum
A regional partnership with the Trag Foundation and the Catalyst Foundation contributed to the creation "Philanthropy Forum" which will permanently support philanthropy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
