SAFEGUARDING POLICY

The Safeguarding Policy is the governing instrument of Trag Foundation establishing the principles, obligations and procedures for protection from sexual harassment, sexual exploitation and abuse (SEAH), as well as for the protection of children from all forms of abuse.

Zero-Tolerance Principle

Trag Foundation enforces the principle of zero tolerance towards every form of sexual harassment, exploitation, abuse and child abuse. The Policy is grounded in a survivor-centred approach, with full respect for the will, dignity, privacy and right to support of all survivors and persons who have experienced violence and exploitation.

Reporting Obligation

Reporting a suspicion of sexual harassment, sexual exploitation and abuse (SEAH) or child abuse is an obligation incumbent upon all persons cooperating with Trag Foundation. Reports may be submitted regardless of hierarchical position or the nature of the relationship with the Foundation.

How to Report

Reports may be submitted by e-mail to: safeguarding@tragfondacija.org , together with any supporting documentation, where available. You can send the supporting documentation via WeTransfer to the email: safeguarding@tragfondacija.org

Confidentiality and Protection from Retaliation

All reports are handled with the utmost care and in strict confidence, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act. Trag Foundation applies zero tolerance towards retaliation against any person who has submitted a report, witnessed or participated in a safeguarding process.

Reporting is the first step towards the protection and safety of us all.
