The first National Forum for Green Ideas, which focuses on entrepreneurial ideas aimed at sustainability and environmental preservation, was held in partnership with the Rockefeller Foundation and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Through the campaign, Oplaneti se! Recycle!, for the first time in Novi Sad, a festival on the theme of nature conservation was organized.
Also, the first National Day of Giving, whose goal is to promote individual and corporate giving in Serbia, was organized by the Serbian Philanthropic Forum.
Together with partners from the SIGN network, the 18th GEF-Forum of Eastern Donors was organized, which brought together more than 100 representatives of foundations active in Eastern and Southeastern Europe and the countries of the former USSR.
Cooperation was achieved with Bank Intesa, which provided support in the mapping of organizations dealing with vulnerable elderly people in the local community.
With the support of the American Agency for International Development (USAID), as well as the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and the Balkan Fund for Democracy, funds invested in initiatives in local communities throughout Serbia through the Active Community program exceed 165,411 euros.
Centrifuga program was expanded to Centrifuga+, focusing on abandoned public spaces, and the 8 best projects were supported.
It continued with support for public speaking, entrepreneurial organizations, long-term and planned approaches to developing own capacities, maximum use of local resources and alternative solutions for long-term financing of services.
The financial endowment reached $188,000, supported by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.
Until July 2013, the Trag Foundation operated as the Balkan Fund for Local Initiatives (BCIF).
