1999

At the time of the 1999 bombing, at the initiative of Jenny Hyatt, British activists collected a basic fund intended for the recovery of the Balkans.

Thus, in May of the same year, the Balkan Fund for Local Initiatives (BCIF) was created in London, which would later become the Trag Foundation.

It was then that the first programs were created, such as Active Communities, some of which still exist today.
