We are looking for a coordinator of the United platform
The coordinator is responsible for conducting competitions aimed at strengthening the capacity of the women’s movement ( Fund for young feminists , Fund for self-sustainability and development funds intended for institutionally supported women’s organizations), providing support to community members to build and strengthen the movement through activities on the platform, and for the development of programs and resources that will enable a more efficient and effective fight against patriarchal social practices.
Duties:
- Coordinates the implementation of the competition through the Ujna platform, ensures transparency and participation in the application and selection process, provides support to members when applying.
- It regularly monitors the work of women’s organizations and determines the need for technical and programmatic improvement of the platform. It provides continuous customer support to members and, with the support of the developer, ensures the smooth operation of the digital platform.
- With the support of the administrative department, it performs legal and administrative tasks. In cooperation with the team, reviews and approves the reports of supported organizations and individuals.
- In cooperation with the team, she designs and implements training and mentoring and proposes new methods of building the capacity of the women’s movement. Advises supported individuals and organizations with the aim of effective design and implementation of activities, evaluates the success and impact of support programs.
- It cooperates with partner organizations and encourages networking of the women’s movement with key actors (other civil society organizations, institutions, decision-makers, media, companies, etc.).
- >Participates in event organization and program promotion, designs and organizes study visits, conferences, trainings, lectures and participates in media activities
Key competencies:
Knowledge of civil society, especially the women’s movement
Knowledge of women’s rights and gender equality
Developed communication and leadership skills, experience in facilitation
Adaptability and proactivity, willingness to learn
Ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision
Required qualifications:
Minimum of two years of experience in the non-profit sector
Experience in designing and implementing training and mentoring
Advanced knowledge of digital tools, preferably experience in web administration
Excellent spoken and written knowledge of the English language
Working conditions:
Employment contract for one year, with the possibility of extension and trial work of 3 months.
Full time (40 hours per week).
Frequent trips in the country and region (Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina)
