National-level company contribution award
Hemofarm JSC Vršac was nominated by the Boško Buha Theater for the Wholehearted campaign conducted by the Hemofarm Foundation. Through this campaign, the Hemofarm Foundation implemented several projects in the fields of health care, culture, children, youth, humanitarian aid and social inclusion. Donations include the purchase of equipment and the rehabilitation of health institutions in Serbia, the organization of unplanned preventive examinations, support for numerous cultural events, the renovation of the Boško Buha Theater, partnership with UNICEF, scholarships for the best pupils and students, and peer education programs in the field of addiction prevention. During the May floods, on the initiative of Hemofarm, a donation was sent to the vulnerable population, and the Hemofarm Foundation helped equip the Gerontology Center in Obrenovac, supported the repair of damage in the municipality of Vršac and provided a house for a single mother of four children.
Award for contribution to the local community where the company operates
Bambi Ltd. Požarevac was nominated for support to the local community in repairing damage caused by floods. Bambi Group provided money, its products and volunteer support of the employees to help the vulnerable in the shortest possible time. Bambi is the largest corporate donor of the UNICEF Friends Club, which provides conditions for a happier childhood for children and, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, the company supports primary schools through a series of projects aimed at improving the education of the youngest members of the community.
Award for Small and Medium Enterprises
Banja Komerc Bekament Ltd. Aranđelovac was nominated for support to sports clubs, institutions in the field of culture, humanitarian organizations and municipalities threatened by floods, for which this company allocated over 20 million dinars in the previous year alone.
Award for Long-Term Partnership Between the Business and Non-Profit Sectors
Phillip Morris Operations JSC was nominated for cooperation with the ENECA organization on the Get to Work project, which has been implemented since 2009 . Through this program, Eneca and Phillip Morris supported 160 small and family businesses in the south of Serbia over three years, enabling the employment of around 600 people. The program has since expanded to the territory of the entire country, ensuring the establishment or expansion of operations for 100 businesses per year.
Award for individual contribution
Svetlana Urošević from Grocka was nominated by Predrag Milošević for initiating and implementing over 100 actions in the field of health care, social inclusion, animal protection and assistance to families from vulnerable areas. . It is estimated that in the past year, it provided over 30,000 euros for the implementation of these initiatives.
Award for Contribution to Social Inclusion
Kotlenik Ltd. was nominated for support to the Association of Citizens to Fight Human Trafficking in Athens through actions to renovate the Safe House run by this association, a monthly donation of 1% of total income for direct support programs for victims of human trafficking, employee education on the subject of this phenomenon and a joint campaign aimed at partners, customers and suppliers, which raises awareness of this problem but also encourages activism and philanthropy.
Award for Volunteering
Coca-Cola HBC Serbia was nominated by the Represent Communications agency for a strategic approach to corporate volunteering. In addition to the fact that the employees of the Coca-Cola system were involved in all the activities of the Movement for Joy program, spreading awareness about the importance of physical activity for improving health, they also donated over 6,000 working hours to ensure that aid to those affected by last year’s floods was delivered in the shortest possible time.
Philanthropy Award
Delta Holding was nominated by the Delta Foundation for its contribution to flood damage repair through donations of water, food, hygiene products, clothes and shoes. This company provided accommodation for employees and rescuers, psycho-social support for the vulnerable, renovation of 47, construction of 6 new houses in Obrenovac, and renovation of the Magacin music studio in the Obrenovac Sports and Cultural Center. In cooperation with Delta Agrara, this company developed a program to support farmers from built-up areas through donations of goods and professional assistance. The company also enabled the purchase of manufactured agricultural products, thus providing individual producers with income and the opportunity to further improve their production.
Philanthropy Award
Veran Matic was, nominated for his contribution to a large number of actions of general social importance. Thanks to his involvement, as well as engagement through the B92 Fund, several projects were implemented that helped the health system in the long term (Battle for Babies, Battle for Maternity Hospitals, Battle for Hospitals, purchase of mammograms). ). In addition to this, Veran contributed to improving the position of women victims of violence through Safe Houses as well as alleviating the consequences of poverty through the Food for All project. He is the holder of the highest international awards for social work, and with his initiative, in the past year alone, he secured over 96 million dinars for the improvement of health, social inclusion and poverty, and provided support to flooded areas through financial and goods assistance.
